Economic dispatch for microgrids with communication delays and flexible load

Abstract The consensus algorithm is widely used in the microgrid, but it affected by communication of distributed generators. If delay serious, can affect system’s performance and cause instability. To ensure stability microgrid under constraints, aiming at extensive penetration flexible loads transmission network considered, this paper proposes a economic dispatch method based on constraints. By coordinating information exchanges between generator total load demand, output are optimized system. Compared with traditional control strategy, strategy that system has higher convergence speed same delay. Finally, IEEE-14 node to verify effectiveness correctness proposed algorithm.
